Luke 17: 20-21 Revelation Not Observation

I heard somebody say that “the church cannot live by observation but by revelation”.    Revelation is an uncovering, unveiling; it’s the mystery of the purpose of God in this age, and the communication of the knowledge of God to the soul an expression of the mind of God for the instruction of the church.  It’s when we not only just come to know who He is but when the message that He is Lord has been received down in our souls- no longer just intellectual knowledge that Jesus is Lord, but in your heart of hearts you know that Jesus is YOUR Lord.  That's when your emotions get a hold of that knowledge and there is a reaction from the seat of your emotions that stirs up joy way deep down on the inside of you that is combined with a peace so overwhelming that your desire becomes His will/purpose/desire for you.

Revelation comes from the same root word as apocalypse.  This word has generally been related to an event that marks the end of the world.  Guess what?  That is exactly what revelation is; when we come into an understanding of the truth of the Lord’s purpose and plan for our lives, it marks the end of the world’s ways, influence and power over us.   When a born again believer comes into the knowledge of, belief in and acceptance of the Lordship of Jesus Christ and what it means to and for you- there should be a cosmic cataclysm- not just earth shaking, because cosmic is not relegated to the earthly but it’s related to the extraterrestrial and celestial- the supernatural or the heavenly.  So as a believer, when you truly come into the knowledge of God, there really should be a disruption and upheaval of some things from the world that are in you.  The only way that the Kingdom can come IN you is when the world ends in you.  The only way that the world will end in you is when you get the revelation that God has destroyed the ruling powers of evil by the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and raised the righteous to life in a messianic kingdom.  Now that you know that you’ve been made righteous you can do what’s right because you are right and you can live in that elevated place in this Kingdom of Jesus the Messiah.  You can live a higher life!

The kingdom never comes by what you see in the natural.  A supernatural view takes you beyond observation into revelation and revelation always brings about revolution.   So we’ll never see the kingdom, never produce kingdom results to the fullest, or live this life to the highest without revelation.  Not just a glancing knowledge but a settling down way down on the inside of you- in your soul, that starts a stirring and opens up to you what you never realized or KNEW before- and it has nothing to do with the fact that you’ve never seen it before but it has EVERYTHING to do with the truth of what you KNOW has happened on the inside of you.

We walk by faith and NOT by sight.  It’ll NEVER be about what you see. It’s ALWAYS about what you know.  If you want to see an uprising of the power of God in your life, you have to KNOW and ACT like the Kingdom is IN you.   If you NEED a revolution in YOUR life, your knowledge of what’s IN you will empower you to do a 180 degree turn.  When you realize that the kingdom is in you, you’ll KNOW that it goes wherever you go- on the job, at your house, in the school, on the courts; in the court; in the store... There is nowhere that you ARE that the kingdom is NOT!   You have the ability to rule and reign in you- it’s built in, it came with the program- with the initial download at your salvation.  You NEED to know that you’ve now come fully loaded, the LE- luxury edition.  You’ve got all of the amenities- righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.  Without revelation you remain the SE- basic package – saved from hell only; no power- all manual; no Son roof (covering); no surround sound- not hearing His voice.  You’ve got to demand and require that the kingdom comes in you- that it is revealed in and through you and what you do on a daily basis.  Yes the kingdom of God is NOT meat  or drink but righteous, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost…  It’s the capability for right-thinking, right living and right giving; peace- total life prosperity with nothing missing, lacking or broken; joy unspeakable and full of glory!
