Many of today’s youth are making life-changing decisions before the age of 16. To help position them for future success, the Brother 2 Brother Ministry has created the Men of Valor Program (MVP).  MVP is a male organized mentorship program that is geared towards teaching youth valuable life lessons through sports.

 Lessons -

• Leadership – Positively influencing and impacting the lives of others
• Confidence – Being able to face any challenge in life
• Perseverance – Giving your best no matter the situation
• Teamwork – Working with others to accomplish common goals
• Giving –Always willing to help someone else in need

 This upcoming year we plan to host a number of events that will provide each MVP mentee with experiences that will last a lifetime. Our tentative schedule includes the following events:

• Chicago Bulls Basketball Game
• Fishing
• Bowling
• Field Trip to watch & meet local NBA superstars in their summer league game
• Sports Camp Day*

 *The MVP Sports Camp Day is the key event in the program that enables youth to put to use all of the lessons learned in an action packed day of sporting events! Please visit our photo gallery album to view pictures from last year’s event.
